Adding an New IVL Member

• Create user name: normally first letter of first name + last name. Example: Jurgen Schulze -> jschulze

• Add user to user list on wiki at [1]. This is the main user data base for the mapping of user ID to user name.

• Create IVL user name:
  • ssh root@sessions.ucsd.edu
  • useradd -u <user_id> -s /bin/tcsh -g 100 <user_name>
  • passwd <user_name>

• Create IVL wiki name for [2]

• Inform about weekly group meetings on Fridays at 11am
